A Proposal with a Purpose

Instead of purchasing a diamond ring, they would use that money to create a scholarship for YouthBuild graduates pursuing higher education.

What started as a simple idea grew into a commitment to supporting students on their path to higher education.

Expanding the Vision

Education Is Forever expanded its focus to address the real-life challenges students face on their journey through college.

Building a Community of Support

We expanded beyond scholarships to include mentorship, college preparation, and personalized guidance. Students began meeting regularly with mentors who helped them set academic, financial, and personal goals.

Supporting the Whole Student

The organization developed a structured support system that included college readiness workshops, leadership development, financial literacy training, and assistance connecting students with campus and community resources.

Meeting the Challenge of the Pandemic

As COVID-19 disrupted education across the country, many Education Is Forever scholars faced new challenges. The organization adapted quickly to ensure students remained connected and supported.

2021

Addressing Housing Insecurity

Recognizing that stable housing is critical to educational success, Aaron and Irene expanded their commitment by creating housing opportunities for college students experiencing homelessness through partnerships with local organizations.

Growing Impact

Through the generosity of donors, families, and community partners, Education Is Forever continued to increase scholarship funding while expanding mentorship and support services for students pursuing certificates, Associate degrees, and Bachelor's degrees.

We work on a sliding scale basis because every budget is unique. We also fundraise independently so that we can offer services beyond what our partners can afford.
